Better Health Through Better Connections
The HIMSS 2015 Fall Technology conference for the Midwest is rapidly approaching. This year, the conference is being held at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, from October 25th through October 27th. Travel information is available here.
G/S Solutions will be in Booth 38 at the conference and will be showcasing a number of innovative approaches from Honeywell focused on improving inventory control, asset tracking, and data collection for healthcare organizations. We will showcase robust IBM data center solutions to drive optimal security, performance and uptime for your systems infrastructure.
Specific solutions that G/S will be demonstrating at the conference include:
- Medical Asset Tracking - Durable medical asset tracking expedites your inventory process and ensures the right assets are available within your facility where needed. Tracking for items checked out of your facility by patients and integration with billing also available.
- Patient Meal Ordering - Eliminate paper based menus, improve patient satisfaction, and reduce menu errors with our electonic patient meal ordering solution. Integrated patient nutritional information ensures they see menu choices that are valid for their needs. Save time and eliminate manual special paper menus.
- Medical Supply Cabinet Inventory - Improve the patient care experience by reducing the time spent by your nurses searching for missing supplies from treatment rooms. Eliminate paper and ensure that your treatment rooms have the supplies they need so your practicioners can more quickly get to treating your patients.
For those interested in attending, early bird registration rates are available through September 15th. Registration is available on the conference website and pricing is available for members and nonmembers of the HIMSS organization.
This conference enables professionals working for healthcare organizations to expand their connections and learn about innovative new approaches to utilizing technology to improve the quality and efficiency of the services they provide. In prior years, people attending the conference have spanned a number of roles, from IT to Nursing to Operations. The ability to network and learn from a diverse group of professionals from the healthcare industry creates a great environment for attendees to get a fresh approach to solving problems and pain points within their current organization.
A number of speakers have been lined up for the conference, with keynotes, breakout sessions, panel discussions running Monday and Tuesday. Vendor exhibits will showcase solutions and give attendees the opportunity to discuss their unique challenges in a friendly setting. For a full agenda, please visit the conference site.
We're excited to have the conference in Detroit Michigan this year, and look forward to engaging with so many of you in October. If you'd like to schedule a specific time to meet at the conference, please contact us.
